What to expect for your session
What to expect when doing a pin-up shoot? Usually a whole lot of fun! You'll start by picking an outfit and props which will work best with the poses you want to try. A nice collection of props is provided, and depending on the theme of the shoot, I may be able to provide wardrobe as well. If I don't have appropriate wardrobe, you will have to provide it yourself. Next you'll plug in your ipod, and spend some time stretched across the set smoldering glamorously with studio lights flashing all around you in classic starlet style. You'll look your sexy best if you are feeling relaxed and comfortable. So along with your favorite music, bring anything else that will make you feel calm, confident and sexy--a good luck charm, a good friend, a bottle of tequila--whatever it takes to build your confidence and sense of adventure. If you need the support and you've got a friend that will make you feel more comfortable, invite them. What you wear is entirely up to you. Of course, something terribly sexy! What is your style? Or better yet, what do you wish it were? You could go with a pin-up classic or something entirely modern, and it can be as racy or conservative as you like--from a full length 50's dress and crinoline, to some see-through scandal, to nothing at all. Bring as many outfits as you like, you don't have to wear them all. If you've got something in mind, but you are afraid it will be too much (or too little) you can always bring it along, change your mind, and leave it on the hanger. Here at Vintage Imagery, we completely understand that this is most likely your first time, and you're going to be nervous. We have an all female staff, in private location. Our staff has made countless women feel at ease, and we know how to take the edge off! If you'd like to bring a female friend or a bottle of wine to help you through it, then go ahead! One thing we can tell you is as soon as you meet Sherrie and Alaynna, you will immediately know you are in good hands and you will have a blast! Remember, that we don't even use models for our own photography projects, we use normal women, soccer moms, single moms, divorced ladies, single ladies, etc! Our business is to bring the model world to you, so you can be pampered and feel amazing about yourself, no matter what your current body issues or hang ups are! You will walk out that door, strutting your stuff and ready for the world!
